Marilla understudied the role of the Governess in Britten's The Turn of the Screw with Victorian Opera. Performances 7-17 July 2010 at the Playhouse Theatre, Arts Centre.
Marilla also understudied Annalisa Kerrigan as Kathryn Grayson in the national tour of Mario Lanza: The Loveliest Night of the Year.
Lessons
Marilla is a member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS #636), has a Master of Music Performance degree from Victorian College of the Arts and Bachelor of Music from Melbourne University, and performs regularly with Victorian Opera and other companies and orchestras around Melbourne.
Private singing lessons are available by appointment.

Performances
Marilla is a highly skilled performer with a Masters of Music Performance (VCA).
She is a classically trained opera singer, who also sings in a variety of other styles, including folk and jazz. Marilla has sung with Victorian Opera in Handel's Xerxes, Mozart's Don Giovanni, Orff's Carmina Burana, Donizetti's Elixir of Love, Puccini - Sacred & Profane, Bach's St John Passion, and the Gala Concerts. She has been soloist with Preston Symphony Orchestra singing Dvorak's Te Deum, Canteloube's Chants d'Avergne Series I, Puccini arias, Faure's Requiem, and Verdi's Requiem. Marilla has performed around Melbourne and Victoria with many companies and ensembles, won eisteddfods and competitions, and continues to provide moving performances wherever she goes.
In the past 12 months Marilla has performed at the National Folk Festival in Canberra, the Frances Folk Gathering, Newstead Folk Festival, Maldon Folk Festival, and the National Celtic Festival (Port Arlington).
